Get the Look: GREEN

main copy

Today we are launching a new series of articles/posts on designing and decorating childrens’ rooms!

We begin with our favorite color green!

To start off with, we have chosen this amazing color palette by  benjaminmoore, where you can find any possible shade of green under the sun! They also have great combination colors which can complete your room or serve as a soft toner….

Our basic choice is springhill green 412 (yummy!) and our combination color are HC-117 hancock green and AF -25 paper mache.

Now lets find everything you need to complete a room!

Of course, our favorite stickers/wall decals!

We found you some amazing wall stickers that can either be placed in white if your walls are dark colored (i.e. green!), or in dark (gray or brown) if your walls remain light colored. You can find these picks  here:

Alternatively, a beautiful series of handmade French drawing decals that can be placed anywhere in the room, can be found  here:

Love, love, love these handmade and personalized frames from the magical LeoLittle Lion. They also have nice wall stickers that you should take a look!

Some handmade wonders made of  felt that can quickly become the center of attention in a room from the sweet  thehoneyPie Tree

Of course add a couple of vintage pieces to add a sense of family history and familiarity. If your attic chest doesn’t have any family heirlooms, then head here:

To go harmonious with all the above decor and not become too busy, chose white or natural wood furniture pieces.

You can’t go wrong with vintage cribs, tables, chairs…

We found several classics on our favorite etsy:

1.French by design chair //  2. hindsvik  small cabinet with chair // 3. small rocking chair //  4.Glass Panic  magical desk with little chair  //  5. colored chairs  // 6.   green desk  // 7. BrightWallVintage   wooden kids chair  {surprise here: from April 26 – May 12 / Use coupon code KEEPINGVINTAGEA1IVE for 15% off your purchase ! }  // 8. rachel steward vintage crib

Great post! This particular green is one of my favourites, so I’m rather partial! lol…I love the way you’ve combined the colours and decorative items to create a complete look. Well done!
